Can I use it without internet?

Yes. After opening it online once, it works standalone even where connectivity is completely cut off (outdoor events, basement venues, etc.). Data is stored on your device and never sent anywhere.

Where is data stored? Can it leak?

Products, sales, and stock logs are all stored in your browser (IndexedDB) and never sent to a server. Sync also exchanges data directly between devices via QR/URL, so nothing reaches a third party.

Will data be lost if I change devices or browsers?

Clearing browser data or moving to another device does not carry data over. Back up with JSON export on the Sales tab and load it on the new device. The “Full transfer” QR on the Sync tab also works.

Barcode scanning doesn't work.

Accepted Answer

You need a browser that supports the camera and the Barcode Detection API (e.g. Android Chrome). If unsupported, check out by tapping the product list or entering the code manually. HTTPS and camera permission are required.

I want to reconcile stock across multiple registers.

Set a unique device ID on each device and share the stock change log via the QR on the Sync tab. Duplicates are rejected by log ID, so reading the same QR twice won't double-count stock.

What receipt printers can I use?

Accepted Answer

Bluetooth ESC/POS printers that support Web Bluetooth. A Chromium-based browser (with Web Bluetooth) is required. iOS Safari currently does not support Web Bluetooth.

Can I open the sales CSV in Excel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It exports as UTF-8 (with BOM), opening directly in Excel and Google Sheets. Transaction history and the stock change log can be exported separately.

My stock went negative.

Accepted Answer

Sales or adjustments may have exceeded what was managed. Adjust to the real count from the Stock tab. It is recorded as theoretical stock, so you can correct it during stocktaking.

Run the register and the stockroom with zero connectivity.
